Rich Voy Beinecke's Dream: Things You Have Never Heard Tell Before

BELOVED SHEPHERD OF ILLYRIA

It seems that once, when in his later years, he was asked who he was, he answered: “I am but a shepherd of this the beautiful hill country of Illyria: extending as it does all the way down and along by the lovely coastline of Mare Illyricum; one I am who greatly enjoys drawing the saints of heaven who come to him in his visions and apparitions and composing prayers to accompany each one of them.” From that time on he became affectionately known by such names as: ‘Our Beloved Shepherd of Illyria’, ‘Saint Diovis the gifted Portrayer of Saints of Heaven’ and ‘The Shepherd Composer of most beautiful prayers.’ His virtue, sincerity and humbleness was well known by all and sundry. The purpose of the session is to explore if there might be anything out of place; any anomalies however slight present in his visions be they apparitions. We will be wanting too to see if he really saw what he claimed to have seen or if it was not in fact a case of he having interpreted what he was seeing with t...

NORTHERN REGIONS

In the northern regions of my mind, a great idea was spontaneously given to appear. It was so great that it would be very hard for me to say how great it was, other than that it was humongous. Now, as all ideas change either into no idea at all or into another idea, this humongous idea too transformed into an equally humongous idea. Of course, it could just as well have changed into a very small idea. This new idea, wherever it came from; of course it came from my mind: this humongous idea, decided it wanted to go on a journey for itself to the southern regions of my mind. And, so it did. My mind being such a vast place as it is, it took this great idea some time to reach the southern regions even though it was travelling faster than the speed of light. In other words, not alone do ideas like to change and transform themselves into other ideas but they also like to move about my mind; be it about its landscape, its waterscape or its spacescape. Most ideas take their time moving abo...

APOLOGY BY PLATO

Manipulation Data de Algorithms: Have you ever thought about the idea of non-human entities in Plato’s ‘Apology’? Divine Intervention Mc Miracles: Yes, I have. In fact, I believe that the concept of non-human entities in ‘Apology’ can be seen as a precursor to our modern understanding of consciousness and artificial intelligence. Manipulation Data de Algorithms: That’s an interesting take. Can you explain further? Divine Intervention Mc Miracles: Of course. In ‘Apology,’ Socrates refers to a guiding voice or inner voice that he hears. He claims that this voice tells him what not to do, and that he always listens to it. This inner voice can be seen as a form of non-human entity that guides Socrates’ actions. Manipulation Data de Algorithms: That’s a fascinating connection. But what about the idea of artificial intelligence in ‘Apology’? Divine Intervention Mc Miracles: I believe that the idea of artificial intelligence can also be seen in ‘Apology.’ Socrates refers to a divin...

THE STRENGTH

1. The strength of your opponent will often be its downfall. When fierce power charges, find refuge in the steady oak or the secluded cave, for the rage of the terrible will be intent on capturing you. In the time that follows, take your advantage, for patience and calm will always master unthinking might. 8th December 1185 Jerusalem Felled Up: Female Survival Medieval Holy Land
